Ma’rifah Academy was born out of a strong desire to provide educational support to Muslim families upon Qur’aan and Sunnah who are looking for viable options for their children. The Lead Educational Facilitators are a husband and wife team who boast a wealth of knowledge and experience in the educational arena, spanning early childhood to adults. Parents of four children, all homeschooled, the difficulties faced by those who have a need for quality education with minimal options are well-known and understood.

Our Lead Educational Facilitators are highly educated and dedicated individuals who keep students at the forefront of the educational environment. At Ma’rifah Academy, the Educational Facilitators assess your child's needs to provide individualized instruction. We are an educational program that strives to enhance your child’s progress and overall educational experience. We currently serve children from grades KG to 8, offering student-centered activities that enhance and enrich each student’s educational experience. In an effort to produce 21st Century learners, we strive to integrate technology across subject areas, utilizing various methods, software, and equipment to facilitate their academic growth.

Our CURRICULUM

Ma'rifah Academy believes that every student is unique and that education should be tailored to the individual needs of each of its students. As such, we have adopted a Blended Learning model which integrates "face-to-face instruction, technology, and data to increase personalization, engagement, and mastery of essential skills" (Edgenuity, 2018). Our online curriculum provider is fully accredited by AdvancED, the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI), the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI), and the Northwest Accreditation Commission (NWAC). This curriculum appeals to various learning styles and allows individualized placement and instruction.

Ma'rifah Academy blends learning with real world, face-to-face interaction and support through live virtual sessions, including whole group, small group, and individual learning sessions which are offered twice a week. These sessions allow for peer interaction and are directly connected to their work online.
